SATURDAY FIC REVIEW ON MONDAY

Hi my furry friends! So it is my turn to review a fic, hope you like it!

I must admit, this was really hard to do, its like trying to choose your favorite H/R scene, its damn near impossible. But here we are:

Story Title: Snowed In

Plot:

It starts with the team in a bar, Garica, Prentiss & JJ are all sing along to the song and end up embarrassing Reid. The team then end up in a drinking game, where they sing a line, spin a bottle and who ever it ends up on has to sing the next line. If they get it wrong or don't know it, they have to take a drink. As you can imagine, Reid didn't do that well, LOL! Hotch decides to take home, Garcia drives them to Hotch's house, where he has to basically drag Reid into the house, where Reid pass out on the sofa.

The next day, once Reid has come round and dealt with the effects of a hangover, they discover they are snowed in. The power goes out and they end up in Hotch's bedroom, which has a log fire in it, doing case files until they get tired, Reid borrows some of Hotch's clothes and they fall asleep in Hotch's bed.

Now, I know what you are thinking, Emz, why did you choose this story? It doesn't sound exactly thrilling so far. I would like to point out that trying to describe a story is really quite hard to do. But we are getting to the best part, I promise you!

Back to the plot. Hotch is woken up after Reid accidentally smacks him in the face while having a nightmare. He wakes Reid up and they ended up kissing. This leads to some of the best sex scene writing I have seen. It's beautiful, romantic, sensual and just amazing. We then see the aftermath, where Hotch's is having a minor crisis but they soon deal with it and we end up in another amazing sex scene.

The next day, which is Monday, Garcia phones them to say she is on her way over to pick them up to take them back to the BAU. Turns out Hotch has pulled a muscle in his thigh and Reid is a little sore as well, so they make up the excuse that Reid had slipped and taken Hotch down with him. Things go back to normal, with the exception of the fact that Hotch & Reid are seeing each other but the team don't know that.

Why I love this Fic:

As bad as it makes me sound, its the sex scenes. But there is a reason for it. They are so well written. Its not just the description of what they are doing but the description of the characters and how they look at each other. The way they are written makes it seem so romantic, Hotch is so caring of Reid, making sure he is OK and going at a pace that suits him, making him feel loved and wanted. The description of what they are doing, the way she has described them and their reactions and how she written the entire thing makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Its romantic, sensual, sexy as hell and a really good Reid. This is the first part of her series, and i highly recommend the rest of them as well. As these go on, i might do another one of her stories or a couple. LOL!
