So many of us are looking forward to Season 8. We really hope that Messer doesn't totally screw us this year as she has so many times before and she actually provides us with a 24 memorable episodes of Criminal Minds. In anticipation of such, the IKYdU staff would like to bring in some fresh ideas of our own.
If you are interested in helping out by joining our staff, check out these opportunities!
Graphics Designer: This position would require someone who can whip up a banner or manip on the occasion. Typically, the banner is being changed once a month. (You won't be subjected to just anyone's whim, we promise!) Ali will set up a schedule with you. (Capy will be available for consultation.)
Blogger Assistant: This position would require a regular weekly posting prior to and proceeding the newest episode. It could possibly be an extra day on the occasion that a special event is happening, as well. This schedule will be worked out with Ali.
Forum Foreman: We have a forum on ProBoards as many of you know, but it is slowly disintegrating. This position would be an intermittent posting manager. The perfect person for this position would be familiar with ProBoards and would bump activity by either posting or encouraging others to post. This area will most likely be under Bow's jurisdiction.
Facebook Manager: Long ago, we began a FB account, but it never took flight because of the time needed to get it setup. We need someone who can basically go in and create the page itself, and also maintain it on a regular basis. I would like to coordinate this effort with Emz and her Tumblr, Twitter postings. She would be your go-to girl. DK will remain on staff for the Tumblr as well.
At this point, Emz, Bow and myself, Ali, will do our best to maintain the base social features we have started. My goal is to open the new website on September, 26, in conjunction with the premier episode. Our "Notes to a Gentleman" authors are patiently waiting to reveal their amazing story as our feature to get you excited that day.
